Hello, my name is Dr. Otto W.
Slater, I am a Board Certified
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. My
wife, Kimberly and I have two
beautiful daughters and feel
fortunate to reside in the
Maryville Area.
My medical background and
training started with my
graduation from Purdue
University in 1984, where I
received a Bachelor of Science
in Biochemistry and Molecular
Biology. I later attended the
University of Tennessee College
of Dentistry , graduated cum
laude with a Doctorate of Dental
Science in 1996. I completed a
four-year Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery residence at the Medical
University of South Carolina in
Charleston, SC and graduated in
2000. I currently serve an an
assistant professor in the
department of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery at the
University of Tennessee Medical
Center in Knoxville.
In July of 2000 I went into
private practice with Dr.
Timothy P. McConnell. Dr.
McConnell, Dr. Napier and myself
have a state of the art surgical
facility in Maryville where we
provide full scope Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery services.
These services include placement
of dental implants, extraction
of teeth, and facial
reconstructive surgery.
Additionally, we offer facial
cosmetics Botox, Restylane, and
OBAGI prescription based skin
care. For all our services we
offer our patients the comfort
of general anesthesia. |
