Meet Dr. Mascaro

Dr. Mitchell Mascaro is an oral surgeon at Southeast Oral Surgery, located in South Knoxville. He was born and raised in the heart of South Knoxville and met his wife at a young age. They have been together ever since and have two daughters. Dr. Mascaro pursued his undergraduate studies, dental education, and specialized training outside of East Tennessee. However, he always had a desire to return to the area. He feels fortunate to have found Southeast Oral Surgery, a practice that aligns with his values of providing exceptional care and being actively involved in the community. 

In his spare time, Dr. Mascaro enjoys playing golf and engaging in outdoor activities. He has a wide range of interests and has self-certified himself as a green thumb. He loves learning about various topics and can carry on conversations for hours on subjects like whiskey, Vikings, grills, golf, cowboy boots, landscaping, and more. 

Dr. Mascaro is a passionate supporter of University of Tennessee sports and can be found attending live sporting events. He had an opportunity to pursue a football career, having been offered a spot at the San Diego Chargers training camp. However, he chose to pursue dental school instead, which ultimately led him to become an oral surgeon. 

Dr. Mitchell Mascaro brings his passion for oral surgery, dedication to patient care, love for the community, and diverse interests to Southeast Oral Surgery, making him an integral part of the team.
