Dr. Franklin Murchison

Meet Dr. Murchison

Dr. Murchison was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he developed deep roots in the local community from an early age. He graduated from the Christian Academy of Knoxville before attending the University of Tennessee, where he earned his undergraduate degree. Driven by a passion for healthcare and helping others, he went on to complete his dental education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

During his time in dental school, Dr. Murchison met his wife, Allyson, who also shares his commitment to dentistry and patient care. Together, they have built a life grounded in shared values, family, and community involvement.

Outside the office, Dr. Murchison enjoys an active lifestyle and takes full advantage of the natural beauty of East Tennessee. His favorite pastimes include golfing, hunting, hiking, getting out on the lake, and spending quality time with family.
